VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA–(Marketwire – Jan. 5, 2010) – Cantronic Systems Inc. (“Cantronic” or the “Company”) (TSX VENTURE:CTS) is pleased to announce new sales orders for 30 sets of its state-of-the-art thermal imaging camera systems from India and Indonesia with a total order amount of approximately US$1.3 million. These orders are major breakthrough for Cantronic to enter emerging countries such as India and Indonesia. These thermal imaging cameras represent the high end of the Cantronic product offering and will help Cantronic to grow its business globally. “We are pleased to break into a major emerging market like India after a couple of years persistent efforts in the country,” noted James Zahn, Cantronic’s President and CEO. “With increased levels of security awareness and high growth economies, we expect India and Indonesia to become two important markets for our products. We are pleased to report that these sales combined with our US$ 2.6 million order from SELEX announced on July 7, 2009, our increasing sales in China announced on July 14, 2009 and the 28 camera orders announced on November 2, 2009 will all contribute to strong revenue growth [...]

Cantronic is also pleased to formally launch our latest version of flu screening camera, the FeverScan M3000L with an initial order of 7 units from a customer in Asia. Cantronic has now provided these thermal scanners to countries in North America, Western and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia for installations in airports, major hotels and resorts and other public spaces.
