DIGIPOWER Appoints Jay Lee To Position Of Vice President OEM Sales & Global Procurement of DIGIPOWER Battery Engineering Division

AVENEL, NEW JERSEY May 12, 2010 — Underscoring its commitment to meet the growing North and South American market demand for a wide variety of portable device power solutions, the DIGIPOWER Division of Mizco International (www.mizco.com <http://www.mizco.com> ) today announced the appointment of industry veteran Jay Lee to serve as Vice President of OEM Sales & Global Procurement of the DIGIPOWER Battery Engineering Division (DBE), based in the company’s Avenel, New Jersey corporate headquarters.

According to DIGIPOWER Division President Maurice Mizrahi, Lee now assumes responsibility for directing all OEM battery sales and customer support operations and coordinating all DIGIPOWER design, engineering and manufacturing operations in Korea, Taiwan, and China.  “DBE is a full service custom design, engineering, and manufacturing division that is focused on providing portable power solutions, that are based on rechargeable battery packs, for customers throughout North and South America,” Maurice Mizrahi said today.  “The demand for these solutions is growing at a remarkable rate that is only likely to accelerate in the future.  Jay Lee has the technical expertise, market experience, and sales and customer support skills necessary for us to continue to anticipate and meet future market needs.”

Indeed, Mizrahi emphasized, Lee is now tasked with the goal of strengthening DIGIPOWER’s position as the primary top-tier power solutions supplier to portable device manufacturers.  He is responsible for developing exclusive products for specific manufacturers, identifying and securing exclusive technologies, managing on-site real-time engineering support that reduces customer lead times and cost, raw materials procurement, new project design, and supervising all custom design engineering for new batteries and chargers with full production capabilities.  He reports directly to Maurice Mizrahi in this position.

Prior to joining the DIGIPOWER Division of Mizco International, Jay Lee served as Vice President of Marketing at Battronix Company Ltd., Director of Engineering & OEM Sales at Universal Power Group, and Vice President of Sales & Engineering at SaeHan Enertech USA.  Jay Lee graduated from Han Yang University in Seoul, Korea in 1979 where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electronic Engineering
