By Press Release

ARLINGTON, Va.–(BUSINESS WIRE) — ICx Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq GM: ICXT), announces plans to unveil the CommandSpace® Argus™ at the upcoming ISC West Conference and Exhibition in Las Vegas. With Argus, ICx is building on its CommandSpace concept of using ground surveillance radar and thermal imaging technologies for wide area surveillance and perimeter intrusion detection.

“Our Argus systems combine radar, camera and software technologies that have been engineered to work together. The concept of a pre-configured solution provides value and capability not found elsewhere in the market today.”

CommandSpace Argus is a pre-configured system that includes integrated ground surveillance radar and thermal imaging cameras, each of which has been range matched and optimized to effectively detect, track and assess potential threats 24/7 in virtually all weather and lighting conditions. As a fixed solution, Argus is less dependent on infrastructure which allows rapid implementation and lower up-front and life cycle costs. By engineering system components to work together, Argus provides an out-of-the-box solution that reduces many of the risks integrators face during system integration projects.

“Current and emerging threats call for integrated solutions that are able to continuously monitor both inside and outside a perimeter,” said Colin Cumming, CEO of ICx Technologies. “Our Argus systems combine radar, camera and software technologies that have been engineered to work together. The concept of a pre-configured solution provides value and capability not found elsewhere in the market today.”

As with all CommandSpace solutions, Argus provides customers with an automated approach to wide area surveillance and intrusion detection. Argus gives system operators the real-time information they need to effectively detect, track and respond to intrusions before they become problems. Argus provides all of these capabilities in a turnkey solution with extremely low false and nuisance alarm rates.

To see Argus in action, visit ICx Technologies at the ISC West Conference and Exhibition, March 24-26 at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas, booth 24109.
